The purpose and legal basis for the processing
We process your personal data by storage, viewing and registration. The personal data stored by us is name, address, VAT-number, e-mail and telephone number. The purpose of the processing is to be able to deliver orders, comply with law and provide best possible quality of customer service.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent, that it is necessary for the performance of a contract with the you and to comply with a legal obligation, that arise from our contract.
It is necessary for us to collect the personal data in order to enter into a contract with you and fulfill the legal requirements that arise from this contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data to us. If you do not provide us with the personal data described above, the consequences will be that we are not be able to provide the requested services to you.
Who has access to your personal data?
We transfer your personal data to our partners for logistic handling and transport of our products to you. If requested by the authorities your personal data can be transferred to the adequate authority for control purposes. For contracts with Swiss customers, we transfer your personal data to transporters and customs in Switzerland for storage. The European Commission has decided that Switzerland ensures an adequate level of protection. Such a transfer does not require any specific authorisation.
For how long do we store your personal data?
We store your personal data as long as necessary to fulfil the above mentioned purpose of the processing. However, we do not store your personal data longer than 10 years according to §257 in the German HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch).
Your rights
If the processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw the consent at any time. However, such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data based on the consent before the withdrawal. You have the right to request access to information regarding which of your personal data that is being processed and request rectification of your personal data. You also have the right to object to and request restriction of the processing concerning your personal data, as well as the right to request erasure of your personal data.
